Privacy Policy
Mobile apps by Atessa Group LLC
Effective from: 6 September 2026 · Last updated: 21 October 2026
This policy is also available in Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, French and German (links above). The English and Spanish versions say the same. The others are translations: if a translation differs from this English version, the English version prevails.
1. Who we are
This policy describes how Atessa Group LLC handles information in its mobile apps.
- Controller: Atessa Group LLC, a company incorporated in Delaware, United States
- Operating address: Miami, Florida, United States
- Contact: contact@atessagroup.com
For any question about this policy or about your data, write to us at that address.
2. Apps covered
This policy applies to the following apps:
| App | Identifier |
|---|---|
If we publish new apps with the same data practices, they will be added to this table. An app that handles data differently will have its own policy, linked from its store listing.
3. What we do NOT collect
We start here because it is the most important part and the shortest:
- There are no user accounts. We do not ask for or store your name, email address, phone number or password.
- We do not access your location, contacts, photos, camera, microphone, files or calendar.
- We do not sell information to anyone, and we do not use it to build profiles beyond what is described in the advertising section.
- We do not send notifications you did not ask for. Only Live Football offers alerts for goals, results and predictions, and only if you allow them (see 4.6). The other apps do not send notifications.
4. Information that is collected
The apps work without an account. Even so, third-party services collect technical information when you use them. We list them below with what each one collects.
4.1 Google Analytics for Firebase — app usage
It collects usage events: which screens are opened, which competition is selected, whether a favourite is marked, whether search is used —including the text you type in it, which consists of team and competition names— or whether a result is shared. Together with those events it collects technical data about the device (model, operating system, language, approximate country derived from the IP address) and an app instance identifier, randomly generated, that is not linked to your identity.
We use it to understand which parts of the app are used and which are not, and to decide what to improve.
4.2 Firebase Crashlytics — crash reports
When the app fails, a crash report is sent with the type of failure, the line of code where it happened and the state of the device at that moment (model, system version, available memory). It does not include personal content.
We use it to detect and fix failures. Without it, the only way to learn about a problem would be the reviews.
4.3 Google AdMob — advertising
The apps show advertising. AdMob accesses the Android Advertising ID, a resettable identifier that you can reset or delete from your phone’s settings, and technical data about the device and the connection.
If you give your consent, that identifier is used to show you personalised advertising. If you do not give it or you withdraw it, you will still see advertising, but not personalised. See section 6.
4.4 YouTube — video highlights
Some matches have a video highlight, which plays in the official embedded YouTube player. In Live Football they are also listed in the Highlights tab; the list only shows our match data, and the video plays inside the match screen.
The video does not play by itself. Until you tap it, nothing is sent to YouTube: you only see the thumbnail. If you decide to play it, YouTube (Google LLC) receives your IP address, technical data about your device and the identifiers it uses for its own service, and applies its own privacy policy.
We do not receive any of that. The only thing we record is that a highlight was played, without any reference to who played it.
4.5 Our server
The apps query our own server to obtain results, match events, line-ups and standings. That server does not store any information about you: it stores only football data —matches, standings, averages—, the same for every user. When you open a match, the server may fetch its details from our data provider at that moment; it keeps those details for everyone, and does not record who asked for them.
As with any internet connection, the request travels with your IP address, which our infrastructure provider (Cloudflare, Inc.) processes in order to answer it and to protect itself from abuse. We do not store it or link it to anything.
The home screen widget, in the apps that have one, queries that same server when Android wakes it up, with the same scope: it asks for the day’s matches and sends nothing about you.
4.6 Firebase Cloud Messaging — notifications (Live Football only)
If you allow notifications, Firebase Cloud Messaging creates a registration token for the device: a random identifier used to deliver the alerts, not linked to your identity. The app subscribes that token to topics: one for each team you mark as a favourite and one for each “Who wins?” prediction.
Google keeps those subscriptions in order to deliver the messages. We do not receive the token and we do not know who is subscribed to what: our server sends each alert to the topic, once for everyone who follows it.
You can turn them off in the app’s Settings —the device is unsubscribed from every topic— or in your phone settings.
4.7 Google Play
Google Play collects information about installation, updates and crashes independently of us, according to its own policy.
5. Information that stays only on your device
This data never leaves your phone. We do not receive it and cannot see it:
- Your “Who wins?” predictions (in Live Football)
- Whether notifications are turned on (in Live Football)
- The teams and competitions you mark as favourites
- Your theme preference (light, dark or the system’s)
- Your language preference, if you chose a language different from your phone’s
- A copy of the last results you saw, so the app works offline
It is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data from your phone’s settings.
6. Advertising and consent
Before showing the first ad, the app presents a consent form provided by Google when the rules of your region require it.
You can change your choice at any time from within the app:
Live Football: Settings → Privacy and ads → Privacy options for ads
Country apps: Ajustes → Publicidad → Preferencias de privacidad de anuncios
Refusing personalised advertising does not limit any feature: the app works the same and you will still see advertising, just not based on your interests.
If you see an inappropriate, misleading or out-of-place ad, you can report it from Settings → Privacy and ads → Report an ad (in the country apps, Ajustes → Publicidad → Reportar un anuncio).
7. Who it is shared with
We do not share information with anyone beyond the providers that make the apps work:
| Provider | What for | Their policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google LLC (Firebase, AdMob, Play, YouTube) | Analytics, crash reports, advertising, distribution, video highlights, notifications | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Server infrastructure | cloudflare.com/privacypolicy |
These providers operate servers in the United States and other countries, so information may be transferred outside your country of residence. Each one applies its own international transfer mechanisms.
We may also disclose information if a competent authority legally requires it.
8. How long it is kept
- Usage events (Analytics): up to 14 months, according to the Google Analytics retention setting
- Crash reports (Crashlytics): up to 90 days
- Notification subscriptions (Firebase Cloud Messaging): while you follow the team; prediction subscriptions are removed two days after the match. An unused token expires after 270 days.
- Data on your device: until you uninstall the app or clear its data
- Our server: it keeps no information about users, so there is nothing to retain
9. How to delete your data
As there are no accounts, there is no profile to delete. Even so, you can:
- Stop notifications: turn them off in the app’s Settings, which unsubscribes the device from every topic. Uninstalling the app also deletes the token.
- Delete what is on your device: uninstall the app, or go to Phone settings → Apps → (app name) → Storage → Clear data
- Stop advertising collection: reset or delete the advertising ID from Phone settings → Google → Ads
- Withdraw advertising consent: from the app’s settings (section 6)
- Ask us to delete it: write to contact@atessagroup.com. We answer within 30 days.
10. Children
The apps are aimed at a general audience interested in football. They are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If we find out that we did, we delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child gave us information, write to us.
11. Your rights
These rights are yours, wherever you live. They do not depend on your country or on which app you use:
- To know what information is collected and why
- To ask for it to be deleted
- To withdraw your advertising consent at any time (section 6)
- To object to the use of your advertising ID, by resetting or deleting it from your phone
To exercise them, write to the contact address. We answer within 30 days.
Laws that may give you additional rights
Our apps are distributed through Google Play, which makes them available in many countries. Depending on where you live, a local law may also give you additional rights and an authority you can complain to:
| Where | Law | Supervisory authority |
|---|---|---|
| European Economic Area | General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) | The authority of your country |
| United Kingdom | UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018 | Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) |
| California and other US states | CCPA / CPRA and equivalent state laws | California Privacy Protection Agency, or the authority of your state |
| Brazil | Lei Geral de Proteção de Dados (LGPD) | Autoridade Nacional de Proteção de Dados (ANPD) |
| Argentina | Law 25,326 on Personal Data Protection | Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública |
| Mexico | Federal Law on the Protection of Personal Data Held by Private Parties (2025) | Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno |
We do not sell personal information for money. Personalised advertising may constitute “sharing” in the sense that the CCPA/CPRA and other state laws give to that term, because it involves using your advertising ID to show you ads based on your activity. You can turn it off whenever you want from the app’s settings (section 6), or from the notice that appears automatically in the states that require it. Refusing it does not limit any feature.
This table grows as we publish apps in new markets. If your country is not listed, the rights in the list above still apply to you: write to us anyway.
12. Security
All communication between the app and our server travels encrypted with HTTPS. The access credentials for the data providers live only on our server and never inside the app.
No system is completely secure, but as we do not collect personal information, there is no store of personal data that could leak.
13. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top. If the change is substantial —for example, if we start collecting a type of information we do not collect today— we will announce it inside the app before it takes effect.
